Oh White iPhone 4, it was nice getting a preview of you. After multiple setbacks from the launch of the iPhone, to later in the Summer, this Fall and next Spring, Apple has yanked the White iPhone 4 from its website.
Not that it was ever officially available for pre-orders, it at least had a “coming soon” text below it when you try and order an iPhone. Its removal only spells one outcome: it will never release.
Rumors surfaced sometime this week that it still may release next Spring. Many (including us) doubted that Apple would release a white version of the current model thisclose to the iPhone 5, and we were right.
RIP White iPhone 4. We’ll miss you (or not).
